In 2023, a team from Ouishare studied the challenges of free software for local authorities. It sought to objectivize the contribution of open source software to objectives of digital sovereignty and sobriety, and to identify the conditions required for successful deployment of open source software. This work was carried out with the support of the city of Villeurbanne.
